A flock of Congressmen  were more interested in “Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson and his pretty wife Korie than they were in President Obama at Tuesday’s State of the Union speech.

A number of Republican lawmakers – and a few Democrats –  who are fans of the hit A&E show lined up for photos and “selfies” of themselves with the bearded brains of the Robertson family’s Duck Commander company.

“My kids are impressed I get to see one person tonight, and it’s not President Obama or Speaker Boehner,” said  Republican Louisiana Sen. David Vitter about  Robertson.

Ex-GOP vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan was also photographed with the couple, as were Indiana Rep. Jackie Walorski and  South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, who tweeted a photo of himself with the couple.

Even Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chair Rep. Steve Israel of New York wandered by, telling Robertson he  “just wanted to say hello.”

Many of the photos were quickly posted on Twitter and other social media.

Robertson was there as a guest of Republican Louisiana Rep. Vance McAllister.

“It was neat being here,” he told reporters after the speech, according to The Daily Caller. “It’s cool to be here. Neat experience.”
