President Trump has been projected as the winner of Kentucky with its eight electoral votes, according to the Associated Press.

The state went to Trump in 2016 when he triumphed over Hillary Clinton with 347,598 votes.

Clinton won just two of the ruby red state’s 120 counties four years ago and 2020 Democratic nominee Joe Biden was never expected to win there.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is also fighting to hold his seat there.
