President Trump is projected to win the state of Missouri and sweep its 10 electoral votes, according to the Associated Press.

The commander-in-chief triumphed over Hillary Clinton in the state in 2016 with 56 percent of the vote.

Trump was always expected to beat opponent Joe Biden in the Midwestern state which has swung hard to the right after John McCain narrowly beat Barack Obama there in 2008 by a razor-thin margin of just 3,903 votes.
