It was just good — or bad — timing.
New York’s attorney general filed a lawsuit against the Trump family’s charity on the same day as President Trump’s 72nd birthday — but her office says it wasn’t intended as a gift.
“Pure coincidence,” spokeswoman Amy Spitalnick told The Post when asked about the timing.
AG Barbara Underwood’s suit, filed Thursday, alleges that the commander-in-chief illegally used the Donald J. Trump Foundation as a “checkbook” for payments for his businesses and presidential campaign.
