Alice Johnson could be seen running to freedom just hours after the Tennessee woman had her sentence commuted by President Trump.

The 63-year-old Johnson sprinted across the lawn at a federal prison in Alabama and landed in the arms of family and friends who embraced her while holding flowers.

Johnson had received a commutation of her sentence after an Oval Office intervention from reality TV star Kim Kardashian last week.

She had been serving life in prison for a non-violent drug offense.

“BEST NEWS EVER!!!!” Kardashian tweeted on Wednesday.

“So grateful to @realDonaldTrump, Jared Kushner & to everyone who has showed compassion & contributed countless hours to this important moment for Ms. Alice Marie Johnson. Her commutation is inspirational & gives hope to so many others who are also deserving of a second chance.”
