More investors at home and abroad are warming up to President-elect Donald Trump.

In one of the latest turnarounds, the business communities of two of Asia’s top financial centers are “mainly positive about the Donald Trump presidency,” according to a new survey by Acuma Hong Kong and deVere Shanghai, both part of deVere Group, an independent adviser to investors worldwide.

The survey was conducted two weeks after Trump was named US president-elect.

“What really came across when interviewing the business leaders and professionals in the powerhouse Asian cities of Hong Kong and Shanghai was the feeling that President Trump will be less extreme when in the White House than he was when on the campaign trail,” Doug Tucker, deVere Group’s head of East Asia, told The Post.

“Despite his ‘tough on China’ rhetoric, amongst other issues,” Tucker added, “these people seemed upbeat and overall pretty optimistic about Trump being pro-global business.”
