Joe Biden and President Trump on Tuesday evening were locked in a fierce fight for Florida — a must-win state for Trump that helped carry him to victory over Hillary Clinton in 2016.
With more than 90 percent of precincts reporting in the Sunshine State, Trump led Biden by by about three points.
Biden was pulling ahead in traditional Democratic territory in southern Florida and in swing areas that cover the city of Jacksonville, Tampa and Orlando.
The panhandle of Florida, which typically leans Republican, had not yet reported.
The swing state has 29 electoral votes at stake.
Without repeating a win in Florida, Trump’s path to the White House narrows against Biden.
