Joe couldn’t resist the media forever.

President Biden largely ignored his press pool while taking another leisurely bike ride Thursday morning, shouting a one-word answer to a CNN photographer who asked if he would be following his predecessor’s arraignment on federal charges in connection with the aftermath of the 2020 election.

“Mr. President, will you be following the arraignment today, sir?” asked cameraman Jay McMichael as the commander-in-chief cycled toward him along a path in Rehoboth Beach, Del.

“No,” the 80-year-old Biden answered as he pedaled by.

Earlier, the president refused to answer queries about topics including the arraignment of former President Donald Trump as he set off from his vacation home.

“Will you talk to us on your way back, Mr. President?” New York Times reporter Katie Rogers asked Biden.

“Probably not,” Biden quipped as he rolled by, leading Rogers to shout back, “Think about it.”

Thursday is the last full day of the president’s week-long retreat to the Delaware beach community about 120 miles east of Washington. On Friday, he is scheduled to return to his Wilmington home and remain there for the rest of the weekend.

During his vacation, the president has only emerged for his daily bike ride and an occasional trip to the beach. On Tuesday, as the Trump indictment was unsealed, the president and first lady Jill Biden went on a dinner date before taking in the movie “Oppenheimer.”

The White House did issue a paper statement from Biden on Thursday morning on the situation in Niger, with the president demanding the release of his West African counterpart, Mohamed Bazoum, and his family from house arrest by a crew of mutinous soldiers.

“In this critical moment, the United States stands with the people of Niger to honor our decades-long partnership rooted in shared democratic values and support for civilian-led governance,” the president said.

“The Nigerien people have the right to choose their leaders. They have expressed their will through free and fair elections — and that must be respected.” 

Trump, 77, was indicted Tuesday on four federal counts over his bid to reverse his defeat by Biden.

That indictment comes on top of the 40 counts Trump faces for allegedly hoarding classified national security documents at his Mar-a-Lago resort and the 34 counts leveled by Manhattan prosecutors for allegedly falsifying business records to conceal hush-money payments.
