President Trump’s no-nonsense border czar Tom Homan is threatening to prosecute New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy after the Dem suggested he was sheltering an illegal migrant in his home and dared the feds “to try to get her.”
“If he’s knowingly harboring and concealing an illegal alien, that’s a violation of Title 8, United States Code 1324,” Homan said on Fox News’ “Hannity” show Monday night.
“I will seek prosecution or the secretary will seek prosecution,” Homan said.
“Maybe he’s bluffing. If he’s not, we’ll deal with that,” the border chief said. “It’s a foolish thing what he said, because I got note of it, won’t let it go, will look into it.”

The threat of prosecution comes after the Garden State leader implied over the weekend that he had opened his home to a female illegal migrant and taunted the Trump administration “to try to get her” — as ICE agents continue to carry out sweeping deportation raids across the country.
“I don’t want to get into too much detail, but there’s someone in our broader universe whose immigration status is not yet at the point that they are trying to get it to and we said, ‘You know what, let’s have her live at our house above our garage,’” Murphy had said in the Saturday interview at a public forum in Montclair, NJ.
“And good luck to the feds coming in to try to get her.”
Murphy’s office later tried to backpedal his remarks — with a rep telling The Post on Monday that he had been “misinterpreted.”
His representative insisted Murphy was referring to a legal resident who is in his circle of friends and was worried about Trump’s return to the White House.

The rep stopped short of saying why Murphy — who lives with his family in a mansion in Middletown Township — would urge the Trump administration to go after the woman if she wasn’t staying at his home.
It comes as Trump’s promised migrant crackdown continues to unfold in some of the country’s biggest cities, including the Big Apple.
During the high-profile raids, ICE rounded up more than 5,500 criminal migrants in the first week alone.
