Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is expected to categorically deny sexually assaulting anyone when he appears at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Thursday — as a third accuser stepped forward with the most damning accusations yet.

“I have never sexually assaulted anyone — not in high school, not in college, not ever,” Kavanaugh says in prepared remarks released Wednesday.

He called allegations by three women that he acted inappropriately as a young man a “last-minute smear campaign.”

“But I was not perfect in those days, just as I am not perfect today,” the statement continues.

“I drank beer with my friends, usually on weekends. Sometimes I had too many. In retrospect, I said and did things in high school that make me cringe now. But that’s not why we are here today. What I’ve been accused of is far more serious than juvenile misbehavior. I never did anything remotely resembling what Dr. Ford describes.”

Christine Blasey Ford, 51, says Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her during an alcohol-fueled house party in 1982 when she was about 15 and he was about 17.

And on Wednesday, Julie Swetnick said in a signed declaration that a teenage Kavanaugh was among a group that spiked drinks at high school parties in the 1980s to make it easier to rape girls.

Swetnick says she was the victim of one gang rape but did not say Kavanaugh was among her attackers.
