President Trump said Friday that jobs lost during the coronavirus crisis will come back by 2021 and urged state leaders to move fast to open up struggling economies.
“Those jobs will all be back and they’ll be back next year and next year we’re gonna have a phenomenal year. People are ready to go. We got to get an open, safely,” he told Fox and Friends.
Thanks to the effects of coronavirus on commerce, 20.5 million jobs were reported lost in April, causing unemployment to reach 14.7 percent.
