Gov. Cuomo said he’s willing to keep state government afloat with temporary budget extenders until he sees what damage President Trump and Congress inflict on New York’s finances.

Cuomo said Trump’s preliminary spending outline, if approved, would slash aid to New York by $1.2 billion.

Cuomo’s comments on NY 1 Monday night were a shot across the bow of state lawmakers, who he warned may want to spend recklessly amid potential reductions in assistance.
