Former NBA badboy Dennis Rodman is making a surprise trip to North Korea on Tuesday amid high tensions on the nuclear-armed peninsula.

The one-time contestant on “Celebrity Apprentice” was spotted at the Beijing International Airport and would not disclose details of his trip, according to CNN. The network confirmed Rodman’s ultimate destination with North Korean officials.

In the past six months, North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has launched a series of ballistic missile tests.

The tests have spread fear about a possible nuclear confrontation on the horizon for Japan and South Korea.

Rodman, a flamboyant NBA Hall of Famer, has visited the Kim at least four times since 2013.

This is Rodman’s first visit under President Trump’s administration — but there is no evidence that Trump is aware of his travel.
