CHICAGO — Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz vehemently declared in his first major address to voters Wednesday that he and Vice President Kamala Harris “owe it to the American people” to detail the policies they would enact — despite Harris still lacking a policy page on her campaign website.

“I think we owe it to the American people to tell them exactly what she’d do as president before we ask them for their votes,” Walz, 60, said in his address to the Democratic National Convention.

The pair has come under persistent Republican criticism for not clearly outlining what policies voters can expect under a Harris-Walz administration.

CHICAGO — Former President Bill Clinton spoke with a raspy voice and said he may be unable to attend future Democratic conventions in a Wednesday night speech to delegates — as stunned viewers noted his hands trembling during his remarks.

Clinton, 78, served as a warm-up act for vice presidential nominee Tim Walz — along with former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro — while repeatedly reflecting upon his own mortality.

“I want to say this from the bottom of my heart, I have no idea how many more of these I’ll be able to come to. I started in ’76 and I’ve been everyone since — no, ’72. Lord, I’m getting old,” he said in an at-times extemporaneous 27-minute speech.

Oprah Winfrey made a surprise appearance on the third night of the Democratic National Convention, causing the crowd to erupt into the loudest cheers of the night.

The television icon gave a shout-out to “childless cat ladies” Wednesday in her convention speech. 

“We are not so different from our neighbors,” Winfrey said. “When a house is on fire, we don’t ask about the homeowner’s race or religion. We don’t wonder who their partner is or how they voted.”

Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) nearly had an Ellen Degeneres-esque selfie moment before gaveling out the third night of the DNC on Wednesday.

"Before I ask for the final vote — I can't, I don't have my phone, I can't do a selfie — some people were asking me for a selfie," Booker said. "All those in favor, say aye."

The ayes had it, so Democrats adjourned for the night.

The final session occurs Thursday when Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris is expected to accept the party's presidential nomination and give the keynote speech.

A self-described Sikh and "Angeleno" took the stage to say a final benediction.

He was the first to be wearing a keffiyeh, a garment associated with Palestinians and commonly seen at protests against Israel.

Pastor William Hall, who began the benediction called for "peace in Palestine, peace for Palestinians and peace for Israelis" – but notably did not call for peace in Israel.

CHICAGO — Tim Walz concluded his speech with one final message to the crowd.

"When we fight," he said.

"We win," the audience replied.

Walz urged Democrats to work hard to ensure victory in the Nov. 5 election. His family then joined him onstage and they walked off together.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz described the struggle he and his wife, Gwen, had starting a family in his DNC speech Wednesday.

“If you’ve never experienced the hell that is infertility, I guarantee you you know someone that has,” the Democratic VP nominee said.

“And I can remember praying each night for a phone call. The pit in your stomach when the phone would ring, and the absolute agony when we heard the treatments hadn’t worked.”

“It took Gwen and I years, but we had access to fertility treatments and when our daughter was born, we named her Hope,” Walz continued.

Hope was seen flashing a heart symbol at her dad as she sat in the crowd.

“Hope, Gus and Gwen – you are my entire world. I love you,” the governor added.

Gus, the governor’s 17-year-old son, has a non-verbal learning disorder, ADHD and an anxiety disorder, according to People Magazine.

The teenager stood up, applauded and cried during the emotional moment.

Kamala Harris released an awkward video of her phone call with her running-mate before he took the stage tonight.

"It's gonna be electric in there," Tim Walz predicted. "Go down there and deliver a freedom speech."

"Just feel the love in the room. It's just, it's, it's, you know, we've been seeing it everywhere we go," Harris replied.

"I think the Minnesotans are going to be pretty jazzed up," he added.

CHICAGO — Brushing aside Donald Trump's attempts to distance himself from Project 2025, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz was adamant that the former president intends to use it.

"Their Project 2025 will make things much, much harder for people who are just trying to live their lives. They spent a lot of time pretending they know nothing about this," he said.

"Look, I coached high school football long enough to know, and trust me on this, when somebody takes the time to draw up a playbook, they're going to use it."

Project 2025 is a proposal for an overhaul of the federal government that was drafted by the Heritage Foundation and a constellation of conservative groups intended to be used by a Republican president.

Gwen Walz, the wife of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, sidestepped accusations of "stolen valor" against her husband as well as misrepresentations he had made about IVF treatments in a video played at the convention.

Tim Walz rose to the rank of "command sergeant major," she noted, without mentioning his demotion to command master sergeant after abandoning his battalion before it deployed to Iraq in 2005.

She also referenced "fertility issues" during their marriage, while ignoring her husband's misleading suggestion that she had used in vitro fertilization.

Gwen Walz had, in fact, used intrauterine insemination, she was forced to clarify on Tuesday.

CHICAGO — Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz formally accepted the Democrats' vice presidential nomination.

He was greeted by a rancorous applause from the crowd.

"It's the honor of my life to accept your nomination for vice president of the United States," he said.
