WASHINGTON — Donald Trump signaled to his GOP rivals that he’ll come out guns blazing at Wednesday night’s CNN presidential debate by attending a pre-debate rally on a storied battleship in Los Angeles.

Trump, who held an evening rally in Bush family territory in Dallas on Monday, is staging his camera-ready event aboard the aptly named Battleship USS Iowa, known as the “battleship of presidents,” on Tuesday, the night before the big debate.

The Brooklyn-built ship was launched in 1942 and now serves as a museum in the Port of LA.

The group Veterans for a Strong America is selling tickets for the event.
