Donald Trump left Trump Tower in a motorcade Thursday morning, heading to La Guardia Airport for a trip aboard a military jet to Washington DC for the start of Inaugural celebrations.

The president-elect and his family embarked at 10:44 a.m. as both onlookers and hecklers gathered on Midtown streets to watch the motorcade.

Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence will attend a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia at 3 p.m.

Afterward, they will celebrate at a “Make America Great Again” concert at the Lincoln Memorial featuring Toby Keith, Lee Greenwood, 3 Doors Down and others.

Military bands will also perform and there will be fireworks by New York’s famed Grucci family during the concert.

Presidential Inaugural Committee Chairman Tom Barrack said the events Thursday and Friday’s Inauguration “will serve as tribute to one of our greatest attributes, the peaceful transition of partisan power.”
