Donald Trump said Sunday that a “large segment” of US taxpayers would have a zero rate if he wins the presidency.
“There will be a large segment of our country that will have a zero rate, a zero rate,” Trump said during an appearance on “60 Minutes” that aired Sunday. “And that’s something I haven’t told anybody.”
The real estate mogul promised middle-income earners would get a substantial tax cut and corporate tax reduction would be “a great incentive” for companies.
Trump claimed some “very wealthy” people would pay for the plan.
“Some people that are getting unfair deductions are going to be raised,” he said.
