Two national polls reveal an increasingly frustrated electorate — and a tightening presidential race.

Hillary Clinton has the support of 48 percent of registered voters, edging out Donald Trump by 2 points, the latest Gravis poll found.

The margin of error is plus or minus 2.5 points.

Meanwhile, 68 percent of Americans say the country is on the wrong track, according to a Reuters-Ipsos poll.

Only 21 percent of respondents believe the nation is going in the right direction, a 47 percent differential that is the survey’s highest since 2013.

In past election cycles, a high level of voter unhappiness has boosted insurgent candidacies.

A dissatisfied public could also mean Clinton’s main anti-Trump message — that he is “too risky” — could only play into his hands.

To unhappy voters, a stay-the-course message could sound out of touch with their concerns.
