Rudy Giuliani says one remark won’t come between him and President Trump.

“He says he loves me,” the former New York City mayor gushed to The Washington Post on Friday.

Last week, Giuliani revealed that Trump had reimbursed personal attorney Michael Cohen $130,000 in hush money to porn star Stormy Daniels – in spite of Trump’s previous statement that he knew nothing about the payment.

Giuliani’s Wednesday remarks to Sean Hannity of Fox News sent the White House into a tizzy.

Giuliani has since tried to backpedal on the timeline of when Trump realized he’d reimbursed his personal attorney Michael Cohen.

For his part, the president has belittled his new lawyer in the Russia probe, saying on Friday that Giuliani “was learning the subject matter” and would eventually “get his facts straight.”
