A mysterious, handwritten “good luck” note was left for Christine Blasey Ford in the Senate Judiciary Committee’s hearing room ahead of her Thursday testimony.

“Good luck, Dr. Ford,” reads the note left Wednesday on the witness table where Ford will testify about her allegations of being sexually assaulted by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh in the 1980s, Roll Call reports. Kavanaugh, named by President Trump to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy, denies the allegations.

An aide initially told ABC News that committee Chairman Chuck Grassley left the note — penned on Senate stationery — but his staffers later said that wasn’t true, according to ABC.

The note has since been removed, according to the San Francisco chronicle.
