Elon Musk’s ex-girlfriend Grimes defensively said they are “happy to denounce Nazi-ism” to avoid being tied to the hate aimed at their kids’ dad for his stiff-armed gesture on Inauguration Day.

The singer, who uses they/them pronouns, lashed out online after one follower said she planned to cover up her tattoo of Grimes in the outrage, which Tesla mogul Musk, 53, dismissed as “dirty tricks” from haters.

“While I deeply respect your concern — it is unhealthy that people are this upset when I have not even been online yet today and am only just learning about this controversy now,” wrote Grimes, who shares three kids with Musk.

“I don’t know what happened and I will not make a rash statement,” the singer wrote on X, the platform owned by her billionaire ex.

“It’s absurd that someone can be this canceled for something their ex did before they even heard it happened,” the “Oblivion” singer went on.

“I am not him. I will not make a statement every time he does something. I can only send love back into a world that is hurting.”

When asked by another social media user to clarify her thoughts on her ex’s controversial actions, the “Genesis” singer wrote on X, “I’m happy to denounce Nazi-ism — and the far alt right. Would that help clear things up?”

“I am happy to set the record strait [sic] in a meaningful way.”

Musk himself responded to the controversy Tuesday, arguing the left-wingers who accused him of giving a Nazi salute “need better dirty tricks.”

“The ‘everyone is Hitler’ attack is sooo tired,” he wrote on X.

The tech tycoon also thanked the Anti-Defamation League after it publicly dismissed Musk’s motion as an “awkward gesture” and “not a Nazi salute.”

“Thanks guys,” he said, alongside a laughing face emoji in response to the ADL’s statement.
