Hillary Clinton jetted to North Carolina on Air Force One Tuesday for her first campaign appearance with President Obama.
At the Charlotte rally, Clinton joked about Donald Trump’s questioning of Obama’s citizenship. “Donald, if you’re tweeting, it’s Hawaii,” she said of Obama’s birthplace.
Obama, meanwhile, called Clinton the most qualified candidate ever to run for president.
In a jab at Trump, he joked that even his youngest daughter, Sasha, tweets. “But she doesn’t think that she, thereby, should be sitting behind the desk,” he said.
Trump hit back, blasting Obama for costing taxpayers “a fortune” by using Air Force One for the Clinton campaign. The campaign is required to partially reimburse the feds.
