President Trump is bringing less than a full diplomatic arsenal to nuke talks with North Korea, Hillary Clinton says.

“You can not have diplomacy without diplomats,” Clinton told a Dutch newspaper during a stop in The Netherlands touting her book, “What Happened.”

No details of the potential sit-down between Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un are arranged. But Clinton, a former secretary of state is wary of the idea.

She warned that the State Department is “being eroded” by personnel departures and that the US now employs too few experienced diplomats.

She said the Trump administration does not recognize the “danger” of approaching the summit short-staffed.

“If you want to talk to Kim Jong-un about his nuclear weapons, you need experienced diplomats,” Clinton told the Algemeen Dagblad newspaper.

The State Department recently lost a key member of its team on North Korea with the recent retirement of Joseph Yun, a career diplomat for more than 30 years.

The Trump administration has also not yet named a US ambassador to South Korea.
