The Democrat-controlled House will “likely” vote on Rep. Al Green’s articles of impeachment against President Trump later Wednesday, according to a Democratic aide.

It’s still unclear, however, whether it will be a floor vote, tabled or sent to committee.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is opposed to beginning impeachment proceedings against Trump.

Green, a Texas Democrat, introduced the articles of impeachment on Tuesday in a process that requires the House act on the resolution in two legislative days.
