The Republican-controlled Congress on Friday took a crucial step in the process to gut ObamaCare when the House approved a budget resolution that sets the stage for repealing the controversial health-care plan.
The passage of the resolution by a largely party-line 227-198 vote allows a repeal bill to move ahead in the Senate without the threat of a Democratic filibuster, which would require 60 votes in the chamber that Republicans control by a 52-48 margin.
The Senate on Thursday passed a resolution to get rid of President Obama’s crowning legislative achievement.
