A long-shot greyhound named Ivanka Trump finished first in a race at the Palm Beach Kennel Club last week, delighting bettors who put their money on the dog’s 10-to-1 odds.
It turns out the pooch came from a litter of nine greyhounds all named after Trump family members: wife Melania, dad Fred, sons Eric and Barron, daughter Tiffany, daughter-in-law Vanessa, uncle John Jr. and The Donald himself.
Before Ivanka’s victory, Donald was the first in the litter to win a race.
“We have high expectations. He’s got a lot of talent. As he learns and gets a lot more experience, he should do well,” said co-owner Richard Brindle.
He meant the dog, not the candidate.
