Jared Kushner reportedly has provided materials to special counsel Robert Mueller as the ongoing federal probe is scrutinizing President Trump’s controversial firing of FBI Director James Comey.

Mueller has been looking at Kushner — the son-in-law and aide to President Trump — as part of his investigation into whether members of the Trump campaign colluded with Russia during the 2016 presidential election, according to CNN.

The widening probe, however, also is looking into possible obstruction of justice stemming from Comey’s firing, the network said.

Sources have told CNN that investigators have been grilling witnesses about what role Kushner played in the FBI director’s ouster.

Kushner is also under scrutiny for attending a June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower between Trump campaign officials and Russian operatives, the network said.

The infamous Trump Tower meeting was arranged by Donald Trump Jr., who was told that the Russians in attendance would have information on Hillary Clinton.

Kushner provided Mueller’s team with materials related to the campaign and transition, including all correspondence with Russian contacts, CNN said.

Trump said in an interview shortly after Comey’s firing in May that he did it over “the Russia thing.”
