Joe Biden talks about lifting up the middle class, but it’s President Trump who has been providing the jobs, the latest labor statistics say.

The unemployment rate for December 2016, the final full month of the Obama-Biden administration, was 4.7%. Last month, it was 3.8%.

The December 2016 rate was 7.9% for blacks and 5.9% for Hispanics. Last month, black unemployment was 6.7% and the Hispanic rate was 4.7%.
