The typically subtle and sophisticated New Yorker magazine is making a splash on its new front cover to pointedly illustrate President Trump’s firing of FBI Director James Comey.

Titled “Ejected,” the cover shows the lanky Comey being dragged off a plane by Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who is a foot shorter.

The illustration plays off the infamous incident last month in which a United Airlines passenger was forcibly removed from his seat on an overbooked flight.

Trump, dressed as a pilot, looks on, standing behind Sessions.

“It’s probably a bit of a leap,” conceded artist Barry Britt.

“James Comey is 6 feet 8 — he probably would have been happy to give up his seat in a cramped cabin.”
