The Issue: A former FBI lawyer who was fired from Twitter for his role in censoring the Hunter Biden story.
The more we learn about the suppression of the Hunter laptop story, the deeper the Department of Justice is involved (“FBI, Big Tech, Big Media: Partners in collusion,” Michael Goodwin, Dec. 4).
The involvement of James Baker in so many recent scandals shows the depth of the internal problems.
It is painfully obvious that the Department of Justice is utterly compromised — from the attorney general on through the upper echelons of the FBI and right down to several compromised field agents.
It is time to drain the swamp once again and start over with this once-well-respected law-enforcement agency.
Until this happens, the agency will be considered nothing more than an arm of the Democratic Party, and it has no one but itself to blame for the public’s mistrust.

So Baker, a man as crooked as a dog’s hind leg, gets the boot.
Baker not only got shown the door by Musk, he got the honor of not letting it hit him in the kiester on the way out.
With his evil connections, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know when it’s time to take out the trash. Or in this case — did it?

This is the same James Baker who was involved with the Russia hoax while general counsel at the FBI.
My question is: Why was Baker hired in the first place, just before a presidential -election? He was fired by the FBI in 2018 and hired by Twitter in the summer of 2020. What was he doing in the interim period? Who was he working for, and were they the ones that got him the job at Twitter just before the election?
There is a lot of suspicion surrounding his employment and activities in crushing any troubling information about Biden, since he was certainly involved with censorship at Twitter.
Elon Musk should investigate the hiring and subsequent employment of Baker.

Baker’s actions over the last several years are a betrayal of his country.
Fanatical ideologues like Baker — who think they have some moral high ground to subvert elections and disenfranchise the American voter — are a disgrace.
It is incomprehensible that a member of the FBI and then Twitter could collude with Big Tech, other members of the FBI and a favored political party to rig an election.
Once our elections are corrupted, we are no better than any other country whose elections are a farce and which devolve into dictatorships.
The right to cast a fully informed, legal vote is among the most sacred actions people in any nation can perform. To take that away is pure evil, and despicable men like Baker need to face the consequences of their actions.

The real breaking news this week was the firing of Baker by Musk. Baker was a shady former top lawyer for the FBI.
The exposé of corruption concerning the Hunter Biden laptop story has compromised Joe Biden’s presidency and is still being suppressed by the Democrat-controlled media.
James Baker was involved in the phony “Russiagate” collusion lie before working for Twitter. He was a key figure in the FBI’s investigation into the false claims of collusion between Russia and Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.
Don’t worry about Baker. He can always get a new job. Maybe he’ll become a Democratic politician.

Michael Goodwin asks the media when they will follow the facts instead of political agendas (“Nearing the truth on Biden racket,” Dec. 7).
Another good question: Where are the Woodwards and Bernsteins? Who will be the ones to step up to the plate and report the news, however hard it may be to go against their own personal opinions?
Guess it will take a Washington committee to open that can of worms.
