Just when you thought things couldn’t get more absurd, President Biden and his merry band of thieves want to give $450,000 in American tax dollars to families who entered our country illegally and were then separated (“Migrant million$” Oct. 29).
Does anyone in Washington know the definition of the word “illegal,” or do they just not care and enjoy insulting taxpayers?

A lot of American citizens live below the poverty line, thousands of veterans are homeless and the inner cities are a war zone, ridden with crime and poverty.
Yet Biden and his administration are considering giving money to migrants who came here illegally.

Biden wants to give $450,000 to illegal immigrants who were separated at the border. Is he nuts? The surviving family of members of our armed forces who get killed in the line of duty get less than that. This is disgraceful.
I am 100 percent against this. After all, they broke our laws by entering our country illegally. Need I remind you that this is taxpayers’ money? Who does Biden think he is?
Biden’s open border is anti-American, and he is intentionally allowing our laws to be broken by letting this go on.
Who are Biden and the liberal Democrats working for? It’s certainly not everyday Americas like us.

This is by far the worst proposal the Biden White House has come up with. It boggles the mind.
So these immigrants who entered our country illegally are now to be rewarded with $450,000?
I’m so livid. The man has made one awful decision after another. There were times when I thought former President Donald Trump might have gone too far in his predictions of Biden. But I realize now Trump was right on target.
All the positive moves Trump made have been destroyed for no reason other than because they made by Trump. There is absolutely no thought for the American taxpayer.

When I first read the headline that the Biden administration is negotiating paying out hundreds of millions of dollars to families who were separated at the border, I nearly fell out of my chair.
Rewarding illegal-alien lawbreakers with American tax dollars is a sure-fire way to trigger a stampede to the border.
The damage Biden is doing to this country is truly unbelievable.

The Issue: The second debate between mayoral candidates Eric Adams and Curtis Sliwa.
Eric Adams came across as thoughtful and in control and reassured me that he would bring crime under control (“Sliwa, Adams debate,” Oct. 27).
Curtis Sliwa ranted and raved like an out-of-control child.

After listening to Adams these last few months, we have been led to believe that he is the anti-Bill de Blasio, disagreeing with many of our idiot mayor’s nonsensical ideas.
However, when asked during Tuesday night’s debate how he would rate de Blasio’s performance, Adams suddenly comes up with a B+.
Sliwa rated the Putz a generous F. He called it as it is. He did not pander to Democrats and progressives by saying complimentary things about de Blasio. He was honest and forthcoming.
