The Issue: Protesters confronting Sen. Kyrsten Sinemaover her refusal to support the infrastructure bill.

Democrats have begun to eat their own (“ ‘Principles’ in the toilet,” David Harsanyi, Oct. 6).

Progressives have taken to publicly cornering and harassing the two moderate Democratic senators who have not yet been brainwashed by the lunatic left.

Whether confronting them at their houseboat or in the privacy of a bathroom, the left will respect no personal boundaries to further its cause.

When President Biden was asked to comment about these despicable actions, he shrugged and said it’s “part of the process.”

Can you imagine someone following you to the privacy of a women’s stall and then being videoed? That’s what happened to Sen. Kyrsten Sinema.

Sickos like Ana Navarro and Kirsten Powers claim that she deserved this harassment. Biden said it happens to everybody. This all is occurring because this senator won’t vote to the liking of the far left.

The Democrats have once again lost their morals and their minds. Ron Zajicek, Cortlandt

When radical leftists show up at your house, come after you in an airport and even follow you into a bathroom to attempt to intimidate you into voting for Biden’s socialist spending plan, it’s time to realize that these people are dangerous.

If Sens. Joe Manchin and Sinema refuse to change their minds, how long will it be before the lefties become violent?

Too many of these people are Marxist fanatics and will stop at nothing to get what they want. My advice — become Republican.

America should thank Sinema and Manchin for their courage in holding strong on this massive bill that Biden keeps lying about.

He has no problem telling the lie in an effort to cement his legacy as the most progressive president in our history.

The middle class will wind up paying for a lot of this bill.

The Issue: Sergeants Benevolent Association President Ed Mullins’ resignation after the FBI raided his home.

There is something truly ironic about Mayor de Blasio complaining that former Sergeants Benevolent Association President Ed Mullins “dishonored his uniform, his city and his union” (“Ed Mullins resigns,” Oct. 6).

I realized that there were times when Sgt. Mullins went overboard — especially when he called former Health Commissioner Dr. Oxiris Barbot a “b - tch” and when he called Councilman Ritchie Torres “a first-class whore.”

However, I cannot think of anything more disgraceful than de Blasio cutting funds for police officers at a time when crime was rising or first lady Chirlane McCray saying that a police-free city would be “utopia.”

Since the two of them have done so much to make criminals more powerful, it is very obvious that they have disgraced the city more than anyone.

Count on de Blasio to take the high and sympathetic road after Mullins’ FBI raid.

When the history books for this era are gathering dust, de Blasio will be known for universal pre-K, meeting lots of NYPD officers face-to-backside and a boneheaded presidential run.

Mullins will be known for abusing his position to settle political scores and possibly enrich himself at the expense of his own members. I’ll hold my nose and take de Blasio.
