French President Emmanuel Macron swerved to avoid President Trump — so that Macron could be first to greet German Chancellor Angela Merkel instead, as the leaders met in Brussels.

The apparent snub was caught on video, and tweeted by Macron, showing him walking up the red carpet toward Trump and other dignitaries Thursday — before suddenly making a beeline to embrace Merkel.

Trump — who awkwardly refused to shake hands with Merkel during a March meeting at the White House — smiled and laughed as Macron took his sweet time to greet the commander-in-chief.
