One of the men accused of assaulting Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick refers to himself as the “Sandwich Nazi.’’
George Tanios — the 39-year-old owner of the “Sandwich University’’ eatery in Morgantown, W. Va. — boasts the moniker all over his social media.
Tanios was charged in court papers that include a photo of him posing in front of a Trump 2020 flag.
The suspect, who also refers to himself online as “kingofthefatsandwich,” was once compared to the former president — and loved it.
“If donald trump was a restaurant manager, this is who he would be,” a person wrote in a one-star review targeting the shop owner, who posted the comment to Instagram in May 2019.
“To epic not to share,” he wrote.
Tanios is accused of joining with a childhood pal from New Jersey, Julian Khater, to discharge bear spray at Sicknick and two other cops outside the Capitol Building on Jan. 6.
The sandwich-shop owner was wearing a sweatshirt with his company’s logo on it at the time, authorities said.

The spray suspects were busted Sunday on assault raps — done in by tipsters who recognized them from photos the FBI put out.
One of the tipsters was a man who had been accusing Tanios of embezzling $435,000 from him during their former business partnership, court papers show.
Tanios was picked up at his home in Morgantown, where West Virginia University is located.
