The Philadelphia Eagles aren’t the only ones ditching a White House celebration on Tuesday — first lady Melania Trump is also sending her regrets, according to a report.

Melania Trump, who attended her first event in 24 days Monday when she appeared at a private East Room event for Gold Star families, has decided to skip the “Celebration of America,” Stephanie Grisham, her communication director, said Tuesday, The Hill reported.

Grisham didn’t say why the first lady wasn’t going to the White House event announced by President Trump after he disinvited the Eagles from celebrating their Super Bowl win when reports said fewer than 10 players had planned on going.

She also stayed behind last weekend when her husband traveled to Camp David, and announced that she wouldn’t accompany him when he attends the G-7 summit in Quebec this weekend.

She also has no plans to join him in Singapore next week for the meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

But Grisham said Melania Trump would attend a FEMA hurricane briefing with her husband on Wednesday.

On Monday, Grisham lashed out at the media — referring to them as the “rabid press corps” — for speculating on the first lady’s whereabouts.

Melania Trump has largely been out of the public eye since May 10, when she and the president welcomed three Americans who had been released by North Korea.

Four days later, her office said she had been admitted to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in nearby Bethesda, Md., for treatment for a benign kidney condition.
