A majority of Americans want President Trump immediately removed from office after inciting a deadly riot inside the US Capitol, according to a new poll.

The Reuters/Ipsos survey found 57% of respondents have had enough and said the president should get out of town.

The numbers split largely along partisan lines with 90% of Democrats saying Trump should leave, while 80% of Republicans saying the president should be allowed to finish out his term, which ends on Jan. 20.

The rioting did not go over well even among Trump voters, 70% of whom said they opposed the violence Wednesday.

A full two-thirds of Trump voters said they believed the protesters were “criminals” or “fools.”

A total of 30% of Americans would like to see Trump’s cabinet invoke the 25th amendment to force his ouster.

Roughly 12% of respondents said they approved of the actions taken by rioters in the Capitol.
