For the first time, Melania Trump has the approval of a majority of Americans.

According to a new Gallup poll, 54 percent of respondents said they have a favorable view of the first lady.

Thirty-three percent said they view her unfavorably and 13 percent had no opinion.

This is a major turnaround of public opinion from January, when just 37 percent of those asked said they had a favorable opinion of Melania.

At a similar point in her husband’s first term, Michelle Obama had a 61-percent approval rating.
