The New York State Republican Party is filing a complaint against US Sen. Chuck Schumer for making “unprecedented threats” against two Supreme Court justices, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.

GOP Chairman Nick Langworthy will lodge his complaint with the state disciplinary panels in the New York Court system that oversees the conduct of licensed lawyers.

Schumer, a lawyer, is a member of the Bar Association.

The Senate minority leader was fiercely criticized by Chief Justice John Roberts and President Trump for claiming the two justices would “pay the price” and wouldn’t “know what hit you” if they ruled against abortion rights.

Langworthy — in a letter sent to the three different New York State Grievance Committees of the Appellate Division — said the threats violated three different rules of professional conduct governing lawyers.

“The off the cuff but from prepared remarks, targeted these two justices by name with incendiary threats that they would ‘pay the price’ and ‘won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions’,” wrote in the complaint, which was obtained by The Post.

“Senator Schumer’s statements were so out of line that they drew a strong rebuke from Chief Justice John Roberts who took the unusual step of publicly condemning him,” Langworthy said.

Schumer spokesman Angelo Roefaro responded, “Chuck Schumer was on the steps of the Supreme Court fighting to protect a woman’s right to choose, which is under legal assault. He acknowledged last week that while he should have chosen better words, they were a reference to political implications for Republicans that would occur from scaling back women’s rights — nothing more.”

Schumer walked back his comments after getting pilloried, but denied he threatened the judges.

“I’m from Brooklyn. We speak in strong language. I shouldn’t have used the words I did, but in no way was I making a threat,” Schumer said on the Senate floor.
