The Queens man who allegedly threatened to kill Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Sen. Chuck Schumer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in unhinged online rants was ordered to remain in jail Monday, as he pleaded not guilty to the federal charges.
Brendan Hunt, 37, entered the plea during a remote court hearing in Brooklyn federal court after a grand jury returned an indictment against him for the online rants in which he allegedly called for a “public execution” of the Democratic lawmakers.
Hunt, who worked at the NY Office of Court Administration, will remain behind bars pending his trial, but will be allowed to argue for bail in the future.
Prosecutors alleged he used the alias “X-ray Ultra” to post threats calling for firing squads for top elected Democrats after the 2020 election.

“And if you dont do it, the citizenry will. We’re not voting in another rigged election. Start up the firing squads, mow down these commies, and lets take america back!” he added.
After the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, Hunt allegedly posted a video on another social media site that showed him calling on Americans to assassinate senators and ranting about a “Zionist occupied government,” according to court papers.
