Mike Bloomberg addressed hundreds of his staffers in the Sheraton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan Wednesday — hours after he was trounced in the Super Tuesday primaries — telling them in person that he was throwing his support behind Joe Biden and vowing to continue using his billions to help him defeat President Donald Trump.

They were chanting, “Mike will get it done,” and U2’s “Beautiful Day” was playing as he walked to the podium.

“Today I am clear-eyed about our overriding objective, and that is victory in November,” Bloomberg, 78, told the crowd. “That is not victory for me, or our campaign, but victory for our country,” he said, officially ending his expensive 2020-run that only netted him one win, tiny American Samoa.

“I entered the race for president to defeat Donald Trump and today I am leaving the race for the same reason, to defeat Donald Trump, because staying in would have made it more difficult to achieve that goal.”

The ex-Big Apple mayor conceded that his poor showing on Tuesday night made it “virtually impossible” for him to win the delegates required to become the Democratic nominee.

Officially endorsing his former rival, Bloomberg praised Biden’s “decency, honesty and commitment to the issues that are so important to our country.”

“The only way of defeating Donald Trump is by uniting behind the candidate with the best shot to do it. After yesterday’s vote, it is clear that candidate is my friend and a great American, Joe Biden,” Bloomberg said. “I know his decency, his honesty and his commitment to the issues that are so important to our country, including gun safety, health care, climate change and good jobs.

“He fought for working people his whole life, and I’m glad to say that I endorse Joe Biden and I hope you will join me … in making him the next president of the United States,” he said.
