Vice President Mike Pence said Thursday it’s time for special counsel Robert Mueller to “wrap up” his probe into Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election and possible Trump campaign collusion.
Speaking to NBC News, the veep said that while the Trump administration would continue to cooperate with Mueller’s ongoing probe, he wanted to see the investigation come to an end.
“It’s been about a year since this investigation began. Our administration’s provided over a million documents. We’ve fully cooperated in it. And in the interest of the country, I think it’s time to wrap it up,” the vice president said.
