Newly emerged images show accused Capitol rioter Riley June Williams helping to steal a laptop from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office — then bragging about it on social media, according to a federal affidavit.
The stunning images were revealed Tuesday as prosecutors amended a statement of facts against the 22-year-old Pennsylvania woman who is accused of trying to sell Pelosi’s computer to Russian spies.
The filing includes a screenshot the feds say was taken by Williams showing an HP laptop, with her writing alongside it, “They got the laptop.”
Williams could be heard directing others in Pelosi’s room, telling one man as he lifted up the computer, “Dude, put on gloves,” according to the complaint.
Investigators confirmed that a laptop was stolen from the House speaker’s office — which Williams seemed happy to confirm in messages on Discord, the complaint said.
“I STOLE S–T FROM NANCY POLESI [sic],” one message shared in the complaint read.
“I DOMT [sic] CAREI TOOK NANCY POLESIS [sic] HARD DRIVES I DONT CARE KILL ME,” another read, according to the complaint.
Messages on Discord seem to confirm Williams’ involvement in taking the laptop. Ahn, Demian (USADC)Investigators say Williams was earlier seen directing rioters to Pelosi’s office — yelling “Upstairs, upstairs, upstairs” as they filed through hallways — and was seen on surveillance footage going in and out of the Democratic leader’s office.
They were tipped off by Williams’ ex-partner, only identified as W1, who said Williams “intended to send the computer device to a friend in Russia, who then planned to sell the device to SVR, Russia’s foreign intelligence service.”
“According to W1, the transfer of the computer device to Russia fell through for unknown reasons and WILLIAMS still has the computer device or destroyed it,” the complaint said.
“This matter remains under investigation.”

She is likely to also be charged with stealing the laptop, with a charge of stealing government property among two new felony charges being prepared, Assistant US Attorney Christian T. Haugsby told a court hearing Tuesday. A bail hearing is scheduled for Thursday.
