Ousted Manhattan US Attorney Preet Bharara snagged a reserved seat for James Comey’s testimony Thursday on Capitol Hill.

Reporters milling about the Senate’s Hart Building stumbled upon a chair with Bharara’s name on it.

“CONFIRMED: It was @SenSchumer who set aside @PreetBharara’s seat,” tweeted Politico reporter Kyle Cheney.

Since Comey was fired as FBI director, Bharara has gone on the attack against Trump’s decision, including as recently as Wednesday.

“Obstruction aside, it’s NEVER ok for a POTUS privately to ask an FBI Director to drop a criminal investigation. Extraordinary, wrong & dumb,” Bharara tweeted after Comey’s prepared testimony was released.
