President Trump has given chief of staff Reince Priebus a July 4 deadline to shake up the White House staff or he’ll toss him, a report said.

The president has considered bringing in former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and deputy campaign manager David Bossie to get things under control as the Russia investigations continue to roil the White House, Politico reported late Sunday.

He laid down the law to Priebus, former chair of the Republican National Committee, after returning from his first overseas trip as president last month and offered him a fair chance to make the changes by Independence Day.

“I’m giving you until July 4,” Trump said, according to Politico. “I don’t want them to come into this mess. If I’m going to clean house, they will come in as fresh blood.”

The White House disputed the report.

“Whoever is saying that is either a liar or out of the loop,” press secretary Sean Spicer said.

The deadline coincides with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s timeline to get the GOP-backed health care plan through the chamber before Congress leaves for its July 4th recess.

The report also said White House insiders are skeptical of Trump sticking with the target date, since other deadlines have come and gone with Priebus still in the White House.

First it was the 100-day mark of the administration, then it was Memorial Day, the report said.

“It’s become comical that every holiday becomes a referendum on Reince,” Politico reported, citing an adviser to the president.

Even Priebus has taken a fatalistic view of his White House future.

“I’ve got one foot on a banana peel and another out the door,” Politico reported him as saying, according to a source.
