A Republican US senator who dropped her support for Donald Trump last weekend over his vulgar p—y tape changed course again Tuesday, saying she’s now going to back him.
“I plan to vote for Mr. Trump and Mr. Pence on November 8,” said Nebraska Sen. Deb. Fischer, who on Saturday had urged him to drop out.
“I put out a statement . . . with regard to Mr. Trump’s comments. I felt they were disgusting. I felt they were unacceptable, [but] I never said I was not voting for our Republican ticket.”
She said the reversal was due to Trump’s refusal to drop out.
