Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said Sunday that President Trump wouldn’t endorse “hurting other people” after a caravan of Trump supporters swarmed a Biden campaign bus on a Texas interstate.

“Certainly you don’t want harm, and we shouldn’t be hurting other people so the president would not endorse that,” McDaniel said on CBS’ “Face the Nation” when asked about the highway skirmish.

Trump retweeted one clip of the confrontation Friday on I-35 in Hays County along with his praise: “I LOVE TEXAS!”

There was at least one minor collision between a Biden staffer’s vehicle and one of the trucks waving Trump and American flags, the Texas Tribune reported.

Friday’s incident also led the Biden campaign and state Democrats to nix multiple Texas events in the battleground state.
