President Trump’s former press secretary Sean Spicer has reportedly met with special counsel Robert Mueller’s team in regards to the ongoing probe into whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia.
Spicer spoke to the investigators for “much of the day” and was grilled about the statements he made concerning Trump’s firing of former FBI director James Comey, according to Politico.
He was also asked about Trump’s Oval Office meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, the paper said.
Spicer, who served as Trump’s first press secretary, was lampooned on SNL as “Spicey.”
