Congress early Thursday morning shot down a challenge to President-elect Joe Biden’s victory in Pennsylvania.

The objection to Pennsylvania’s electoral votes — brought on by Sen. Josh Hawley — was squashed by a vote of 92-7.

Other than Hawley, also supporting the challenge were Sens. Ted Cruz, Cindy Hyde-Smith, Roger Marshall, Tommy Tuberville, Rick Scott and Cynthia Lummis.

After a few hours of debate, the House followed suit, rejecting the objection to Pennsylvania electors by a vote of 282-138.

Both chambers of Congress on Wednesday also rejected a challenge brought by Sen. Ted Cruz of Biden’s Arizona victory.

The Electoral College votes came after lawmakers were forced to postpone their joint session when supporters of President Trump took over the Capitol building.
