Steve Bannon said there will not be any political bombshells in the Mueller report because the investigation was as thorough as a “proctology exam.”

The former adviser to President Trump appeared on CNN where he said that releasing the full report will not have a negative impact on the Oval Office.

“Mueller had what, 20 serious professional prosecutors. They had 42 field agents in the FBI,” Bannon remarked.

“I know, as somebody who went through the process, Anderson (Cooper), it was like a proctology exam. I was a witness of fact.”

He then argued that any damaging information the special counsel has would have been made public already.

“If Mueller had something, being the kind of senior-level prosecutor he was, he would have done something,” Bannon said, concerning the non-indictment of Trump.

“I think by not doing anything and saying there was no collusion, which is how whole thing started about, I don’t think there’s going to be much there.”

Bannon then predicted President Trump will use the Mueller investigation — and what he called the “media hysteria” surrounding it — for his advantage in the 2020 campaign.

“President Trump is a fighter. I think he looks at this as a fight,” Bannon said.

“I think he’s going to be very aggressive in pushing back on this — what I think he believes is media hysteria around this investigation.”
