Ted Cruz insisted Monday that he has never cheated on his wife, Heidi, and accused Donald Trump of spreading false rumors that he has.

Cruz was asked whether he committed adultery during a town hall meeting in Madison, Wis., moderated by Fox News’ Megyn Kelly.

“I have always been faithful to my wife. I love my wife. She’s my best friend in the world,” Cruz said.

Trump has denied having anything to do with a National Enquirer report alleging that Cruz has had affairs with five women.
